Pricing Specialist

Job Summary
- Function as Pricing Specialist in setting strategic pricing for all vehicles in Malaysia lineup.
- Work closely with counterparts such as Demand and Supply colleagues, cross functional team and Distributor to optimize pricing operations in Malaysia. 

Role and Responsibilities 
1. Pricing Management (Main)
- Analyze market, product, promotion, customer profiling and competitors movement to optimize vehicle price setting.
- Create business proposals for new vehicle pricing, negotiate and seek approval from all stakeholders and management.
- Manage monthly pricing SOP operations (system price administration, price notice issuance, etc).

2. Cost Management (Main)
- Update profit calculation sheets with various cost factors periodically to monitor profitability and plan for profit improvement counter-measures.
- Conduct cost evaluation study to understand vehicle cost movement.

3. Product Planning (Support)
- Support distributor in mid term product planning (up to 5 yrs) which involves setting of product strategy, target market, target volume,etc
- System management of distributor's vehicle specification selection.

4. Others
- Manage Ad-hoc request or issues from internal, head office, regional offices and distributor counterparts.
- Support in materials preparation for top management reporting when required.

Job Requirements

- Open to diploma holders with 2-3 years of experience and fresh degree graduates
- Degree holders with 3-5 years of experience are welcome as well
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Powerpoint) to run analysis & visualization, reporting purposes etc.
- Flair for numbers, strong analytical skills with an eye for details
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Well organized with good time management abilities to meet deadlines and schedules
- Basic knowledge and interest in automotive preferred
- Determined and takes strong ownership in task
- Able to travel overseas and work overtime when required
