JOB SUMMARY

The Demand and Supply Specialist is responsible for balancing customer demand with supply capabilities to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory levels and operational costs. This role needs to manage monthly operation for appointed Production plant and Sales country. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams (Sales Division, Production Division, etc).

The position plays a key role to perform as “Final Quality Gate” function to ensure correct orders being sent to production and parts procurement on time.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills with expertise in supply chain management and demand planning.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Analyse demand variability, supply constraints, and capacity issues to support effective decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, and overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and recommend actions to improve planning performance.
  • Identify seasonal demand patterns and emerging market trends that may impact supply requirements
  • To perform monthly S&OP process by preparing demand, supply, inventory, and capacity analyses.
  • Identify supply risks, capacity constraints, and inventory issues, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular updates on key planning assumptions and operational performance.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for management to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously drive process improvements by applying analytical thinking and best practices in demand and supply planning.

Key Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills include PivotTables, Power Query, and data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret large datasets
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
