Demand and Supply Specialist

Job Summary
- Function as Demand & Supply Specialist to manage monthly operations, mid-long term sales forecasting for Malaysia.
- Work closely with counterparts such as Pricing colleagues, cross functional team and Distributor to maximize sales with appropriate production in Malaysia.

Role and Responsibilities

- Create monthly Demand & Supply plan and negotiate with Distributor.
- Explain Demand & Supply thinking way to cross function team so as to justify production volume request for future months
- Good overview of Malaysia market, promotion activities and competitor situation to explain to internal stakeholders
- Visit distributor and dealers regularly to gather feedback from frontline and improve forecast accuracy
- Monitor sales achievement daily/monthly and discuss countermeasure with Distributor or Function team to bridge the gap.

Job Requirements

- Open to diploma holders with 2-3 years of experience and fresh degree graduates

- Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Powerpoint) to run analysis & visualization, reporting purposes etc.

- Flair for numbers, strong analytical skills with an eye for details

- Excellent communication skills and a team player

- Well organized with good time management abilities to meet deadlines and schedules
- Basic knowledge of demand & supply concept and interest in automotive preferred

- Determined and takes strong ownership in task

- Able to travel overseas and work overtime when required
